Last week I was thrilled to join Weddingbells for a brand new look at 2012′s most popular wedding colour: purple. Since it’s still going strong in 2013, I was asked to share some fresh interpretations of this outrageously pretty palette. Head on over to Weddingbells for the full scoop!

This week, I was incredibly thrilled and honoured to be featured on one of my favourite blogs, ZsaZsa Bellagio. A remarkable artist and curator, ZsaZsa’s blog is bursting with beauty from every post.

Check out my little guest post here.

This is an Inspiration Board I’ve been dying to post. It essentially portrays a cross between the Fezziwigs’ Christmas Ball and Fashion Week (imagine a glamourous Dickensian Christmas where charming seasonal details meet couture gowns and faux fur stoles). Instead of the usual red and green, I pictured a warm, cozy palette inspired by candlelight, eggnog and cranberry sauce (not to mention that killer ruby estate ring!) Here are a few other details to accompany this special celebration:

Lavish calligraphy in warm holiday hues

Plurabelle Caligraphy

Children’s choir carolers to serenade guests during cocktail hour

Elizabeth Messina

Candle escort cards (name and table number written on collar)

Weddings By Two

Hot cocoa bar

Antonis Achilleos

I know this last one is completely over the top, but I couldn’t resist throwing in a dinner time ballet performance (for a Christmas wedding, why not consider the Russian Dance from The Nutcracker?)
